We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager for our client

Assignment Description The assignment initially involves the role of assistant project manager in an infrastructure project. Depending on needs, the assignment may also include project management in other areas of the organization in the long term. We are now seeking a driven project manager with experience working in large project organizations and a background in infrastructure projects, particularly in public transport or similar operations.

The assistant project manager will have access to a project group consisting of specialist competencies in various areas. The assignment includes, with the support of the project manager, ensuring that project goals are met regarding time, cost, and quality. The role also involves acting according to the development goals: competent project executor, business-oriented client, and effective management with the traveler in focus.

Examples of tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage and follow up on design and production in accordance with governing documents in consultation with the project manager.
• Be responsible for ensuring that the project is conducted according to applicable guidelines, routines, and strategies.
• Plan, lead, and follow up on design and production concerning time, economy, environment, quality, and work environment.
• Ensure documentation and archiving according to applicable requirements.
• Represent the project in contacts with external parties and stakeholders.
• Manage information efforts towards businesses and the public.
• Actively work with requirements and change management.
• Establish and update project specifications.
• Participate in the project's approval processes and document management.
• Ensure that the project adheres to safety management systems as well as environmental and work environment requirements.
• Participate in financial forecasts, reporting, and risk management.
• Lead and participate in project meetings and resource planning.
• Review tender documents and construction documents.
• Participate in the procurement of consultants and contracts.
• Ensure the project's handover and final reporting.

Mandatory requirements

• University or vocational education engineer (at least two years).
• At least three (3) years of work experience as a project manager, assistant project manager, or production manager in a large infrastructure project (over 100 million SEK).
• Documented experience of at least one project within public administration (e.g., project closure, procurement, or similar).
• At least three (3) years of experience working within a client organization in municipal, regional, or state authorities.
• Documented education in AMA and standard agreements AB04, ABT06 within the last five years.

Desirable requirements

• Experience from at least one (1) project as a site manager, construction manager, assistant project manager, or production manager in railway or tramway projects in the last five (5) years.
• Project management training (at least three days).
• Documented training in LOU/LUF.

Timeline and scope Start: 2025-04-15 End: 2026-04-14, with the possibility of extension. Scope: 40 hours per week. Location: Stockholm

If necessary, the assistant project manager may also be utilized in other projects/programs within investment projects, provided that the role and responsibility remain the same. The scope of this work will not exceed the main assignment.
